Hanover Lady Hornets is a qualified 501c nonprofit organization run by an elected board of directors. Our board members are business professionals, community leaders, and invested parents with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship and developing our youth into the leaders of tomorrow. Our board of directors provides an annual report to our participating families and is always open to new ideas and feedback.
Jeremy Knicely
President
Jeremy's dedication to the organization is evident in his commitment to developing young athletes and fostering a competitive yet supportive environment for growth. His coaching style blends technical expertise with a motivational approach, inspiring players to reach their full potential both on and off the field. With Jeremy Knicely at the helm, the Hornets organization is poised for success and continued excellence in the world of softball.
Steve Sanders
Vice President
Steve is a highly experienced coach who led the 2022 National Team to success. His deep involvement with the organization dates back to its inception, showcasing his dedication and commitment to its growth and development. Beyond coaching, Steve is also a proud parent, with his daughter excelling in softball at JMU (James Madison University). His extensive knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for the sport have made him an integral part of the organization's journey toward excellence.
Katie Bozzo
Secretary
Katie is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in softball. She honed her skills as a player at Virginia Tech, showcasing her dedication and passion for the sport early on. After her collegiate career, Katie ventured into coaching and leadership, founding the River City Sparks organization and making significant contributions to its growth and success. In 2023, Katie brought her wealth of experience and knowledge to the Hanover Hornets organization, where she quickly became a tremendous asset. Katie's commitment to excellence and her ability to inspire and educate make her a valued figure within the softball community.
